Hello Everyone,

What we are adding a
Forex forum for:

  1. Place to post stuff concerning the economy
  2. How to learn the trading system
  3. Create an open source Forex project to work on the development of a
    trading system together.

Here is the current list of topics I will be covering, please
email with any ideas
to add.

I will cover these three first as I felt they were excellent:

    1.  What is the reason (basis) for the Anomaly, Speculative and Conquer
trades?  Do they follow trends, go against trends, etc? How do the
Anomaly and Speculative trades work together, is one trade made in case
the other is going in the wrong direction, etc.?

    2.  Why just the GBPJPY currency pair?  Does it have good trend
properties, bad trend properties, that fit the suggested trades we are
    doing?

A little more advanced topics:

Some things I would like to know when you start discussing if it is not your
secret.

How did you determine the percentages of our
capital allocation for each
strategy?

Did you use Monte Carlo simulations or some scientific approach knowing the
draw-downs and profit in the long run for each strategy or is it just intuition? If
its fine with you, how did you do it?

How do you optimize and keep a system robust. I have a feeling that the
techniques you use are given a lot of thought and are pretty sophisticated
(been run through some rigorous analysis) though they look simple.

Do you have a systematized way of designing a trading system? Meaning does
a trading system you thought of go through a process that is systematized?
Like back testing, run through some Monte Carlo simulations? And perhaps must
pass through some statistical test? If so, do you spend your time refining those
systems?(Does it change over time?) Lastly if you don't mind, please tell me the
process you go through... Don't have to be detailed but the general idea.

Ya the questions I have are all about how do you approach it and think.....

Thanks and regards,
Benjamin Chow
