Simulated Forex Trading

Forex Simulated Virtual Trading

I highly recommend simulated forex trading to all new traders just learning to trade. I cannot stress enough how important it is before anything else to first become familiar with your trading platform and placing orders. The best and easiest way to learn how to place orders is to just practice placing random orders until you understand naturally how it works.

Trading forex under virtual circumstances in more cases than not is the same as trading a real account. Of course there are many pyshocial factors that come into play once you are trading a live account and real money but that is a whole different story. Right now let’s focus on forex trading demo accounts.

All practice accounts are free from brokers as they want you to learn their platform and eventually they hope you will use them for real money accounts. The majority don’t expire ever and if they do expire after 30 days or what have you then you can just register again and open a new demo account.

Once you understand how to open and close both buy and sell orders as well as limit and stop orders try something a little different to help you practice. Obviously traders are trying to consistently make money while trading forex. Well go ahead and try to loss all of your money! Yep, that’s right try to loss your money. It is not going to be as way as you think! It is an excellent way to develop market insight though as you can reverse the behaviors you are practicing if you find you are unable to actually loss money and keep growing your account instead. Likewise, if you are able to figure it out then you can just reverse whatever it is that you are doing and practice making money. Either way it is an excellent exercise to learn forex trading under a simulator.

Beginning by practicing placing random orders is one thing but beware of not taking your trading seriously simply because you are simulated forex trading. It is very important to trade under virtual environments as if they were real. That is the whole purpose to begin with! You can learn without risk money however what you practice are going to be the habits that stick with you as you grow and mature as a trader so remember to set goals now as you begin and work hard at achieving them as you go.
